Stayed here on business and this has to be the worst hotel I have stayed in London at this price. Reception and downstairs public areas are rather grand but other than that standards are well below what you would expect for the price. Had to swap rooms because there was no handle on bahrooom windon which swung back and forth... more

This place is hidden away in the building next to the London Eye and is worth a visit. There is a lot of origional kit - Props, costumes and bits of set from Ealing, Elstree and Pinewood. We stayed at the Montcalm for 6 nights & loved it! The concierge was extremely helpful, the housekeeping staff polite and efficient, the room service good & timely. The only drawbacks were that the lobby has a slight fish smell due to the dining & Japanese food served (along with other). The dining room was too warm in the mornings... more
