Stayed here for 4 nights in June and had a great time. First impressions of hotel from the outside were that it was awful!!! But inside it is lovely - kind of basic but with very comfy beds and very clean. Great buffet breakfast, very quiet at night, no doors slamming or noisy guests. My husband and I stayed at Hotel Laimer Hof in Munich our last couple of nights in Europe after a 2 week visit. The Hotel Laimer Hof is in a beautiful, peaceful residential neighborhood. I've been to Munchen 5 times and the last 3 I stayed at the Hotel Eder. Not only is it close to the Hauptbahnhof and an easy walk to Marienplatz, the rooms and staff were extremely nice.
