Hotel tower was great! Rooms were very nice and clean. REstaurant was good and reasonably priced. Lobby was a little out dated. Cottages were kind of dumpy, not renovated like rest of hotel. Just returned from 9 nights stay at the Kaanapali Beach Hotel. Husband and I and 17 year old son. This was our worst vacation stay ever. We travel 3 times a year and have always stayed at the Hilton, Marriott, or Fairmont Hotels. Read lots of reviews on TA before we booked. I would have to agree with a lot... more

This was a decent deal for a 1 bedroom at a Kaanapali beachfront hotel ($2000 for 7 nites; no extra parking charge). The rooms are fair sized with a nice King bed in the bedroom and an awful sofabed in the living room.
