Golden Haug Bed and Breakfast

The Golden Haug is a great place to stay, and in a great area to walk to downtown Iowa City. Nila is very warm and welcoming and made an amazing breakfast of coconut and corn flake french toast with a ton of fresh fruit. The Romance Extraordinaire was a perfect getaway for my fiance and I! more

Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean for the most part. Some stains on the carpet in room and hallways. The website says the hotel offers a fitness center, but it turns out you have to pay an extra $10 per day to use it. Parking is also an extra $10. I'll look for somewhere else next time. more
