What a fun place to visit! We strolled all over Virginia City! We rode the Silver City Train, which is a must for all visitors, we did an underground mine tour, we watched a gun show, we toured stores, we did it all and loved it! I very much wanted to stay in a B&B for the authentic flavor, but my husband preferred we stay at the Ramada. I'm glad we did. There was a heat wave going on during our stay, so the air-conditioned lodging was a lifesaver. The furnishings are Victorian-ish without being garish or fragile.
