“The huge, eye catching, gothic building on the Marienplatz”

If you're on the Marienplatz in Munich, you just can't miss this building. It's intricately decorated, covered with gargoyles, statues and other fun details. Upon it is the famous glockenspiel (clock) that shows "a joust" on the hour a few times per day. You can also take the elevator up to the top of the tower and get a beautiful... more
