Now that it's the Arizona Grand Spa & Golf Resort I was hoping it was an improvement over Phantom Horse. Maybe it will be, but not yet. Mostly cart path only, it would have been better to have walked (if they'd let you). For the price ($149) I expected more. They were doing a lot of work on it so... more

great course in South Mountain area with very easy access. Front 9 is classic golf with wide fairways and some water. Back 9 more target, desert course. Not a long course, but many opportunities to get into trouble. We booked through a website and got on for $79 in early Feb. I would definitely play here again. Pro shop merchandise... more

Having the opportunity to play the Phantom Horse this summer (2002), I am very excited to see the changes and renovations complete. The course has added to an already beautiful landscape with the addition of length on some holes and making the course more playable. I would recommed taking the time to see these new attractions in the upcoming months. more
