Here are our observations: 1- The country of Punta Cana is unbelievably poor and we did not feel safe outside of the resort, so stay inside the resort. 2- Food was average. 3- Rooms are too small and infested with bugs. Just spent 7 days at the resort. Excellent grounds, food average to above average, great service from the staff. Some of the negatives - you never know how your room will be furnished daily - some days no wash towels, no coffee cups or just one, same for towels or bath mat. Just got back from Dreams, there for 2 weeks, did'nt want to leave.The weather was great, the food was very good, the entertainment was excellent. This was our fourth visit to Dominican Republic so we had several locations and hotels with which to compare Dreams Punta Cana.
