Me and my wife stayed at Laurel Point in June of 2008 for a 3 day weekend. We stayed here as part of a package through Clipper Vacations out of Seattle. We rode the ferry from Seattle to Victoria. We stayed in one of the studio suites, it was very nice, a huge bathroom, great view of the harbor from... more

We stayed at the hotel for two nights to attend a wedding which was at the hotel. We had a harbour view room with a balcony. The room was very comfortable and large, great tv and fast internet access with was complimentary. Food was great and the staff were friendly and efficient. When we booked the room I thought that... more

This hotel was part of our seven week trip throughout Canda and USA - this was one of the best hotels we stayed in. It was strange access to the lift but once we got in to our room we where greatly impressed by the view out in to the harbour with the planes landing in the heavy winds. The... more

We don't expect to have the best room in the house when we book a dog-friendly room with a promotional discount, however, when we first arrived to our room in the old wing of the Laurel Point, we were very disappointed. I had been to this hotel ten years ago and remembered it being luxurious, but the room we were... more

My wife and I stayed here in August for 3 nights. If you are thinking of staying here go for a room in the Erikson wing, this is really the business. Wonderful specification with a spacious balcony overlooking the japanese garden and spectacular views over the harbour. We upgraded into this room for a couple of nights. The service from... more

We stayed for a couple of nights at this hotel. We reserved a "Harbour View" room through Expedia, but when we arrived we were given a room at the first floor with a tiny view of the harbor. When we asked to switch the room, the front desk immediately told us there were no other rooms available unless we upgrade... more

We arrived for a 5 night stay. Room large with great views of harbour. However there were only 2 small bedside drawers for clothing, so we asked for more drawers. The staff did provide them, thankgoodness. However the old north wing is very tired and dirty. The furniture marked, but worse still the bedroom carpets are badly stained. Checking with... more

After reading muriad reviews about this hotel, some good and some horrible the conclusion I came to was this. . .it depends on what wing you are staying in. We stayed two days in the South or Erickson wing in a king bedroom studio suite. This is the wing that has been refurbished and it met every expectation we had.... more

Just back from a quick overnight in Victoria. Booked a last minute Saturday night stay at the Laurel Point. Chose Laurel Point because of its location and a good rate. We (two adults, two kids) were in the older part of the hotel. We braced ourselves for a very basic room and were pleasantly surprised by a simple, very clean,... more

We booked a Clipper vacation package from Seattle to Victoria, BC, after doing a little price comparing versus ala carte bookings. Puget Sound was like glass the morning we traveled. The boat was full as they had combined two sailings, but our seat mates enjoyably added to the 2-1/2 hr. trip. Once we arrived in Victoria, it was a three... more
