This was my first stay in Whistler. We went for one night just to see the sights and take advantage of the very low summer rate. The drive up was no problem, as the construction has seemed to taper off. If you are driving up, I recommend stopping at Shannon Falls and Brandywine Falls Provincial Parks along the way. Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with 2 kids. When I booked through Shell Vacations central line(I am not a timeshare owner) the agent tried to pretend she was in WHistler when she was obvioulsy in the US. It was obvious that she had never been to Whistler but her story about just having gotten coffee at the Starbucks... more

Upon arrival, we were welcomed delightfully by Scott at the front desk. We had spent the day at the Whistler Music Festival and were sunburnt, tired, and hungry. Scott sensed this and quickly and kindly informed us of a variety of things as well as a free upgrade to to loft suite - with a sauna. He was thorough, kind... more

We booked a studio over the internet, but upgraded to a loft apartment when we checked in, for a small extra amount. We also paid for car parking. The apartment was wonderful, very well equipped, and very stylish too. We had a view over the pool area, but being on the fourth floor there was no noise problem. The hotel... more

We are members of the Shell Vacation Club which owns timeshares in this hotel. We stayed once over a weekend in February and then again for a week in March. The location is fabulous and the room we stayed in was perfect for the 2 adults and 3 teens. The problems we incurred we related to the housekeeping. Our first... more

My boyfriend and I stayed in a studio suite for 4 nights for around $350. The room had a kitchen with utensils and a fireplace. It was great to have a kitchen to cook our meals since the restaurants in the village are relatively expensive. The fireplace was great for the cold nights. The room was so comfortable that we... more

We stayed at the Mountainside Lodge for a few nights earlier this December. We had a great stay! I understand it is primarily a time-share hotel, but we were able to get booked. Our room was the loft-room, with the upstairs room, bath and private dry-sauna. Another couple joined us at the last minute, and there was plenty of room... more

The mountainside has a great location relative to the mountains and is even well placed to most of the noise from the Village Stroll, but unable to control the noise within their own building . Spme guests on our floor had a very large, very drunk party until well past 3 o'clock despite several phone calls to the front desk.... more

This is an outstanding hotel. I have stayed at 'fancy' hotels before and paid through the nose for a quarter of the service Mountainside lodge provides! We are infact STILL here 3 weeks on, we love it so much. Its truly a home away from home and the staff are amazingly helpful. I couldn't put into words how grateful we... more

My husband and I decided to head up to Whistler Friday afternoon so I booked online about and hour before we arrived and from the moment we got there the service was excellent. They upgraded our room for free and when we walked into the room we were pleasantly surprised with what we got for the low rate we payed.... more
