We were expecting luxury accommodations comparable to a previous Intercontinental stay in Montreal. However, when we checked into our room, we noticed that this was the same hotel in Toronto that we stayed in 6 years ago. Back then, it was the Crowne Plraza and has since been converted to an Intercontinental. We were a little disappointed and were glad... more

The good: - Close to Union Station - Really big room, very nicely furnished - Decent workout space. The not-so-good: - Not an area with night-time eating options, as the area seemed deserted at night. - The lights were not working - turns out they were unplugged. Also, one of the lights had the bulb and socket hanging out of... more

We just recently stayed at this hotel, and I was expecting quite a bit as it was rated 4.5 stars on Hotwire. Once we checked in, I was glad we paid Hotwire prices as I would not have been happy paying full price for this hotel. If you do pay full price, I am guessing it would be for the... more

My family (husband & 2 kids) and I enjoyed a great stay at the InterContinental in downtown Toronto! Loved the pool area and spa facilities. The location is fantastic, close to the CN Tower, Hockey Hall of Fame and lots of shopping and dining options within walking distance. We will definitely choose this hotel on our next visit to Toronto. more

My husband and I stayed at the InterContinental for our first wedding anniversary on June 16. We had originally booked at the Royal York, but we were able to get a really good deal on the room here. We booked a deluxe King room, guaranteed to be on a high floor. We travelled by Go Train (driving, and parking, in... more

The hotel is in a nicer part of town (compared to the Comfort Inn on Dundas where my class was held). It was a good option looking at what else was there. It is great if you are there for a convention as it is connected by sliding doors to the convention center. We stayed on the 16th floor. I... more

I read a lot of reviews before my stay. I was expecting a lot worse. The hotel is decent. My room was on the 7th floor facing the CN tower. There was no complimentary breakfast. The room was very basic, no refrigerator and dated television. Since I was attending a conference at the convention center this made it very convenient.... more

The lobby is trendy and cool and everything you think an intercon should be. Don't expect much of the guest rooms though - they told me it was previously a holiday inn, and I believe it. The guest rooms could use some serious updating. Location to the convention center is great! This hotel is very convenient if you're attending a... more

I stayed at ICTC while on business trip at the end of May. I got a room with a king size bed on 13th floor. I found the room to be average. It had the comforts that are expected in a hotel of this class but the room was small and the decor cold. The tub in the washroom required... more

Found the room to be very average - seems to be a typical conference type hotel with basic facilities in the rooms. Really nice reception area and buffet is reasonably good. As I am a plat priority pass holder, received a basket of cheeses, fruit and wine (all lovely except for the Merlot - had quite a bite to it).... more
