I redeemed SPG points for 2 nights in a one bedroom king suite at this location. I was surprised I could do it because it was last minute and during the Toronto Film Festival. The room location was a little odd, down some weird hallways and up some steps but the room was beautiful. Expert staff, all with great attitudes... more

Of course you don't choose a hotel for the bed - but this is one of the most comfortable beds I have had in a hotel. I really did not want to get out of it in the mornings. We stayed here for three nights and found the service to be first rate. The Consierge was very helpful and pleasant... more

Yup, great lobby and public areas, nice bar downstairs. However, only an average (small) guest room in an industry where the competitors are getting better and better all the time and offer more comfort, amenities and value than I encountered on this stay. Ongoing problems with heating system. Lack of in-room coffee-making facility a particular irritation. Pay-for Wi-Fi. Adequate but... more

We stayed here for two nights in April 2008 to watch our beloved red sox get creamed by the blue jays. Here is our report: We were greeted by the door man who arranged to have our car parked, where it was left until we left. Check in went well and our room was very spacious and comfortable. The large... more

It was a very nice place to stay, very luxurious. Stayed two nights. No prices on the menu outside the restaurant so you knew it was very expensive i.e. Sunday brunch $50.00 / person. Location was excellent for us. Would stay there again but not eat there. more

Stayed at Le Meridient Kind Edward over Easter holiday for 3 days. We got a deluxe room. The room was nice and clean but TV set was miles away from the bed. There was no tea or coffee in the room. It was -6 outside so we could do with some hot drink. The location was really handy, about 10... more

I selected the King Edward hotel as it was close to my business location. After a quick search online I found the hotel web site and decided to make a booking, The Starwood site required me to pay up front for the three nights with no cancellation option. This seemed rather inflexible but I went ahead and booked. Due to... more

The service is quite good if not for a valet that was rude and offensive. I was in a suite and it looked ridiculous!!!!!! I often stay at Le Meridien hotels worldwide but this property did not impress me. more

As frequent visitiors to Toronto over the past fifteen years and having stayed at a number of properties during that time we can readily describe the King Edward as being "The Best of Toronto". It's location is in the heart of the city close to so many things of interest - shopping, theatres, and Toronto's great subway system. What stands... more
