I usually stay at 4 or 5-star hotels, but needed to save some money this time. I was a bit concerned about some of the reviews I had read on here, but decided to give it a try and was very pleasantly surprised. I was expecting a small dirty reception area, but there is a fantastic lavish one with very... more

First of all, our room was clean and small and the staff are very helpful and courteous. However, the Days Inn Downtown Toronto engages in false advertising. They say they offer free wireless internet in the rooms but it never worked. I was told they were having problems with the ISP and would be corrected in a couple months. AAA... more

Date 20 June 2008 Reviewer: Ant & Ang UK The Days Hotel is in downtown Toronto, well located for bus, metro & streetcars. Within walking distance of Eaton Shopping Centre. The hotel room was small by Canada standard but came with cooler, TV, coffee maker. It was very clean and quiet. Front desk very helpful. Good value for money at... more

My first question is do they have housekeeping? The hair in the bathtub? The used Kleenex under the bed? I travel a lot and I can deal with most Hotel related let downs its par for the course when your on the road 5 days a week like I am but please at the very least give me a clean... more

Air smells like cigarette smoke in the non-smoking rooms. A/C did not cool, and when fanning, made loud noises. Bed cover had cigarette burning holes. Beds are uncomfortable (WAY too soft that you can slip down from the edges...)-- very very old mattresses. Shower head was broken. Color has been peeling from the bath tab walls. TV sound made strange... more

Location is great, couldn't ask for better for a sight seeing trip. Room was tad on small size, bathroom very worn. Corridoors needed brightening up. HOWEVER reception area and staff very pleasant, restaurant was great value for breakfast, (don't use the menu, just have the buffet, GR8 value). There were signs up apologising for inconvienience due to work being carried... more

Excellent location for all downtown activities. Room was small but newly renovated and clean. Very quiet at night. Air-conditioned struggled to keep up with the heat wave but this was happening everywhere in Toronto. Front desk pleasant and efficient. Convenience store handy and prices were good. Restaurant was very good. Always taxis available out front and subway stop right next... more

Stayed at the Days Inn for 3 nights at the end of last month. We picked here as we had stayed before and the location is really central. We arrived at the hotel at 1.30pm and were told the check in wasn't until 4pm, but they did have 1 room free. When we got to the room, there was an... more

This hotel's in a pretty good location, near Yonge Street and yards from the subway. Takes about 25 minutes to walk downtown. Overall the hotel was fine, I think I had a refurbished room though, which probably helped. Everything worked OK, the reception staff were friendly and helpful, as was the assistant in the souvenir shop. Didn't use the restaurants... more
