we have stayed 2 times at the tahoe seasons resort. Clearly, the previous reviewer did not get a newly renovated rooms, which are very nice. Our air conditioner worked fine, and they have put in new comfortable beds and sofa beds, 2 large flat screen tvs, and new decor. though this is geared for ski season right next to heavenly,... more

My husband and I booked this room for the weekend. It is a timeshare resort...resort is a little over the top, relic is more like it. First off, there is a mandatory valet parking, if you dont want them to valet your car you have to park up the street. They dont charge for this service, but you feel bad... more

We booked this resort for our honeymoon! We were pleasantly surprised. The room was very large and comfortable for the two of us. It would be ideal for a family of four. The resort is located right at the base of Heavenly. We visited Lake Tahoe in early May - this was their shoulder season but you couldn't tell because... more

Fabulous location across from the California side lifts (some of the better steep skiing on the hill). Rooms a little tired and definitely dated decor (a lot of mirrors! A bit disconcerting first thing in the morning). Odd layout too with the dining table basically in the bedroom and a huge spa bath in the middle of the room with... more

Here’s a little background. We are an active couple in our early 40’s. This is our third trip to South Lake Tahoe, in as many years. This is also the second time that we have exchanged into the Tahoe Seasons Resort, (which I will refer to as TSR) I snowboard, and my wife skis. A few years ago, in spite... more

Walking distance to the Heavely CA base lodge. Outdoor heated pool. Ski shop inside with lift tickets $1 cheaper than mountain. Serves only buffet breakfast so all other meals on your own. Some units have kitchens but check what included. Great with valet car service since you don't have to dig yourself out from snow. Close to Safeway supermarket and... more

It's the closest big hotel/resort to the California Lodge, the main base lodge for Heavenly. You can literally walk across the street and walk through the lodge's parking lot to the ski lifts. It's the best location if you're at South Lake Tahoe purely for the slopes. Many people who stay around Heavenly Village will take the free Heavenly Ski... more

The room is like walking into an old RV. There are running lights on the step up into the bathroom which is oddly placed in the center of the room which includes a large jacuzzi which takes 35 minutes to fill up. Plan on whoever your staying with to see your silhouette while showering in the jacuzzi. Fireplace a joke,... more

We stayed here for a nice ski trip. It is so close to the slopes, you can't go wrong with that. It was nice just to walk out. But the room, which had a giant hottub, felt like something out of Cocktail. there was a lot of fake gold stuff on everything. We felt like it could really use an... more

We booked a timeshare exchange from August 26th-September 2, 2007 through RCI which rates this as a Gold Crown Resort (the highest rating). It is actually about the equivalent of a Holiday Inn. I completely agree with Goleta on the description of the facilities and the friendliness of the staff. The rooms and furnishings are really old and in need... more
