Rooms were nice but had issues with cleanliness and funny smell. There seemed to be no night life about the hotel either. Not great for oru stag party. more

We spent 4 nights at Tara Lodge in June 08 and it was really fantastic. As soon we checked in our room I was very pleased to find the hotel was more beautiful than the photos on their website. The staff was very friendly and fun to talk to; the grounds were well kept; the room was cozy but not... more
Tara Lodge was not only in a great location for us, but it also had a wonderful charm. The staff was very accomodating given that both mornings we stayed (1st and last days of a week and half trip) we had to get up really early and head out. They were more than happy to serve our breakfast early, although... more
This was the 14th time I have stayed in this hotel and I would not choose to stay anywhere else in Belfast. I have experienced other hotels in the city and they are not a patch on Tara Lodge. The staff are always friendly, welcoming (I usually arrive at midnight after a very long day) and helpful. The rooms are... more
After reading the review from 1st August 08, I was a little nervous when arriving at Tara Lodge on 4th August 08. However, my mother and I were very pleasantly suprised and I really must take issue with the review that was previously given. We loved it! We were certainly not disappointed with our room which was a good size... more
Stayed here in March for two nights. Our room was one of the ones in the outside building on the ground floor. Was comfy, bed was very nice. Breakfast was absolutely lovely both mornings, so fresh and you have to try the porridge. Staff were nice and helped us with places to eat. No bar is a drawback but plenty... more
We booked this hotel for a weekend stay based on Tripadvisor reviews and were generally pleased. Check in/out was smooth and easy. The room was nicely furnished, modern and very comfortable. The bathroom although very small had an excellent shower and toiletry products! Tara Lodge is slightly out from the centre though as previously described it is about 15 mins... more
The Tara Lodge was my favorite place that we stayed in Ireland. After hopping from one B&B to another it was a breath of fresh air to stay in a modern & impeccably clean hotel. The room was very comfortable, lots of storage space for our bags, nice bathroom, flat screen tv. It was a little loud on the weekend... more
After booking this hotel / B&B and on the basis of the reviews here on Trip Advisor, we were left very disappointed with the Tara Lodge. The staff were unfriendly, unhelpful and overworked. We stayed in the new annex they have recently opened to the rear of the property. Be warned - it is right next to the railway line... more
We chose Tara Lodge based on the fantastic ratings given by people on trip advisor, and we weren't disapointed. Our room was great and our breakfast was cooked to order. I will definately stay here again the next time I'm in Belfast. more
