I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in August. Good, clean hotel about 15 minutes walk to the Royal Mile. Close to Princes Street shopping and Edinburgh Castle. Room was spacious and clean. Continental breakfast was more than adequate. more

Myself and 13 work colleagues stayed here as we were going to the Playhouse Theatre which is conveniently situated across the road. It has a perfect city centre location and the rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was included and there was plenty of choice. We thought the price per room was reasonable given the location. more

Unexceptional hotel with a great location close to city centre and main rail station. Front desk service is uninspired and alarmingly little checks are made for ID when checking in - considering my partner had checked in earlier and I was able to turn up and get a key by just giving my name it was a little disturbing. Just returned from a 1 night stay following a mini trip to Scotland to visit relatives. We arrived just before official check in to a wonderfully warm welcome and extremely efficient check in. The hotel was clean and the room was clean. The staff was also attentive and helpful. I also liked the fact that it was across the street from the Ocean Terminal. I would stay at this hotel again if I should ever come back to Edinburgh. more
