Booked this hotel via discount website and although I expected it to be comfortable after reading other reviews I have to say I was really impressed. Superbly clean, fantastic beds and what a lounge - very regal. Staff really helpful. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others more

Charleville Lodge is a great base if you are staying in Dublin, the rooms are clean and the bed was so comfy. Just returned from 4 days in Dublin. We picked the Charleville after reading good reviews plus the price was reasonable. Cost about 25 euro for a taxi from airport. Hotel was very nice. High ceilings, ornamental moldings, china doorknobs, 19th-century ambience, a little worn but inviting, quiet, comfortable, modestly priced. No. 10 bus at door takes you everywhere.
