I have read a few reviews on the Grafton and some of them commented on the noise, all I can say is we were on the 4th floor facing the main rd and the noise was terrible !! we were out partying with the rest of Dublin and decided to call it a night around 1.30am, the noise was very... more

We spent our first 3 nights in Ireland at the Grafton Capital. The first night - a Friday, the noise from partiers outside the hotel kept us up, the second night, it was an obnoxious DJ in the nightclub playing 80's music until 2:30 am, with crowd noise until 3:30,and then on the last night, the music from the nightclub... more

I had read the other reviews but thought the noise wouldn't be a problem since we were staying on a Mon/Tues. Well, we didn't have the club noise, but we did have the Guinness truck at 4 am bouncing the empty barrels out the pub's door and rolling new ones in. It made for a great picture, but a terrible... more

We staid here for the weekend and thought it was a great hotel. I'd already e mailed the hotel a week prior to our stay requesting a room on a high floor as recommended by other people to avoid the noise from the downstairs club. I also mentioned that I would be arriving earlier that the 2 pm check in... more

If all you want is a great location, then stay at this hotel when visiting Dublin. But, if sleep is important to you, look elsewhere. The bar next door's DJ was cranking out the tunes until 1:00 a.m. On one night, the racket was so bad, guests were standing out in the halls, asking each other what our options were.... more

This hotel was in a great location but the hotel room itself was in poor condition. The carpet and chairs were worn and stained, the hairdryer looked like it was from the 19th century, and the shower was moldy. The only good thing was the large king size bed. We also made a special request to be put in the... more

Night club noise was hardly noticable (we were in room 207) Ideal location for temple bar, O'connell st/Grafton St shops. 10 min... more

I picked this hotel because of the location. The reviews indicated that it was a bit noisy so I requested a quiet room. Very late the first night someone on my floor (5th) repeatedly slammed their door. Second night (a Friday) the nightclub/bar was packed, you couldn't even enter the hotel from all of the drunk smokers hanging out in... more

Excellent location for lots of shopping,st stephens shopping center and grafton street only a short walk away, temple bar is about a 10-15 min walk away. The hotel is very clean and the food was nice, i would highly advise that when you book you ask for a room on the 5th floor as the hotel is very noisey on... more
