If you dont need swimming pools , gymnasiums etc. this is a fantastic hotel. The food is top class in the bar and the restuarant. Unlike most modern hotels breakfast is served at the table --- no stupid queues to collect tiny fried eggs, burnt rashers or hard toast as seems to be the trend in most hotels these days.... more

I found all the staff to be exceptionally friendly and helpful, (a special mention for Tereasa) nothing was too much trouble for them, rooms very clean and comfortable, food superb, a fantastic hotel in every way. The staff here is amazing! (Ask for Nickie. She's what you want every concierge to be.) The location is nice and the hotel itself was very pretty. The room was nothing special ("country style").
