For a long weekend break we stayed at the Best Western L'Horset Opera. We were not disappointed. It is a very functional hotel and very convenient for the metro, taxis and buses. The hotel is located just off the Avenue d'Opera down a quiet street called Rue D'Antin. The magnificent Opera House and the main department store is an easy... more

This is our second visit, our first only a few months ago and we were impressed enough to go back. This time our allocated room was on the 6th floor (attic) and was very light quite different from the dark room we had in November. Bathroom layout also much better. Lots of good places to eat nearby. All in all... more

Just got back from Rome this evening. We stayed at the Best Western. It was a beautiful hotel, very handy for the metro (between Opera and Quatre Septembre). It is down a nice quiet road called Rue D'Antin a few hundred yards from the magnificent Opera house. There wasn't a sound at night. We were on the fifth floor. Staff... more

The hotel is located just off the Avenue d'Opera very conveniently for the metro, taxis and buses. It is within easy walking distance of the Louvre and other central sights. The hotel was amazingly quiet - we had a fifth floor room and slept with the window open (it was very hot with the window closed). The room was clean,... more

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We arrived before check in and the staff let us check in early. They were very helpful during our visit and their English was very good. The hotel and rooms were very clean, whole hotel was renovated recently, and it was in a good neighborhood. Rooms are small compared to US standards,... more

Excelent choice in Paris, as part of owr honeymoon. Great location, as a base center for Paris: in the middle of Paris, close to the metro and bus stops, restaurants, shopping... Rooms really small but confortable, clean, quiet, nicely decorated. Definitively recommendable. more

We stayed with my wife at L'Horset Opera hotel for 3 nights in early January 2008, right at the start of the winter Sales period in Paris. Our room (on the 3rd floor, facing rue D' Antin) was really fine, clean and very comfortable. It was warmly decorated, well heated and the area is really quiet though it is so... more

My husband and I stayed at the L'Horset Opera for 5 nights during Christmas (23rd to 28th December 2007) and had a fabulous time. The hotel room was on the small side but we had a large kingsize bed with clean crisp white sheets and it was very comfortable. The room was very clean and the air conditioning/temperature control worked... more

Stayed for three nights – Dec 14-17th. Booked on package with Eurostar – Damn their move to St Pancras. For anyone coming up from the South of England it's a pain. Beautiful building, but not a patch on Waterloo for ease of use. A most user unfriendly place with lousy sign-age. Thank goodness the staff are obliging. Anyway, back to... more

I really can't. This is a very average hotel with probably the tiniest room I've ever stayed in, why are people rating it at 5.? Agreed, the location is decent - very central if you think of Opera as central and it is just off the main road but the prices are extortionate.! I got a deal through Octopus but... more
