I didn't follow my usual practice of staying downtown, but decided to try Le Meridien based on reputation. Web site said 5 miles (????) from city center. This hotel is conveniently located for some local industrial sites, but otherwise it is too far away from Hamburg city centre, Rooms do not have air-conditioning, and need redecoration: those facing the highway are noisy.
