The hotel was generally very good, as usual the brochure pictures show the best rooms and views and the reality was slightly disappointing. However the staff were excellent and the general ambiance was good. As it was our anniversary we were pleased to find a bottle of Prosecco waiting for us when we went to the room. As you would... more

By far the best hotel in the world! Expensive but worth every penny. Customer service was meticulous and our room was gorgeous. We will definately be staying here again! I could not more highly recommend the St. Regis Grand Rome! more

We arrived at the St. Regis in the afternoon and were greeted warmly and with great care. We then started our stay there in the deluxe room for 9 days. Overall the experience was very good. The help did seem a bit Stoic at times which I can understand and it wasn't always consistent. At times we arrived back from... more

We had a very enjoyable stay at the St Regis. The room was quite well appointed and up to date. The public spaces are impressive and the location is quite good for touring. My wife thought the bed was very comfortable and she travels a lot. We had a corner room on the front side and it was a bit... more

We fell in love with St. Regis at the end of 2004, after spending a week & ringing in the NYE in their spectacular Ritz Ballroom. Everything was organized flawlessly and it was one of the most memorable NYE hotel-parties we've experienced to date (previously having celebrated at Hotel de Crillon & Ocean Club to name very few) but we... more

The good things are that the St Regis is in a good location, central and convenient for sight seeing (although beware the area near the central train terminal at night, a 5min walk away). The staff were efficient although I wouldnt call them friendly. Furthermore I was a bit annoyed as I got charged an extra 25% per night because... more

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights in May and was very pleased, however for a 5-star hotel that exudes pomp, I expected a little more. I have stayed at other luxury chains similar to the St. Regis, and don't feel this hotel met expectations. The rooms were fantastic, had a very comfortable bed and nice bathroom. However, housekeeping... more

The St. Regis is a "grand hotel" and we found it an outstanding place to stay in Rome. Our room looked over the inner courtyard so it was very quiet. The room size was quite large for Europe and the bed was extremely comfortable. The fitness room and broadband internet are both very good. The staff was also very helpful.... more

Everything was excellent. Nice staff, perfect concierge service and delightfull breakfast every morning. Feel like coming home after a day of adventure. We had the imperial room which is worth the money compared to a standard room. We had a butler that treated us with little snacks every day. One of the best in the world! more

I'm a pretty fussy traveller, and this hotel was everything I expected it to be. Impeccable service, beautiful room and an amazing atmosphere. After a gruelling schedule it was a delight to come "home" to the St Regis Grand and be spoilt and relax. Hotel restaurant and bar both represented exceptional value - nothing was too much trouble and our... more
