We stayed here with our group that included children. Good location for sightseeing. Hotel had good views from the spacious rooms. Great rain shower heads in bathrooms. Comfy beds that were large. Great breakfast buffet. Great view from rooftop restaurant with an excellent children's menu. Staff was efficient but somewhat stuffy. Housekeeping did not replenish amenities in the evenings as... more

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Very techy--in fact at first we couldn't figure out how to turn on the lights! The rooms were very slick and very clean with reasonably-sized bathrooms The service was very good, from the front desk to the concierge. A great breakfast is served every morning with available seating in the courtyard. All rooms... more

What a superb experience! Just got back from a 3 day trip to Rome, staying in the Fortyseven. A fantastic base to explore the city, well worth the few pounds more to be right in the heart of the Eternal City. Staff were great, very happy, smiling and helpful - the girl on the front desk was very chatty and... more

Our family of six stayed at the Hotel Forty Seven for 3 nights in July. The hotel was very clean and very pretty. We had great breakfasts ourdoors in the center of the hotel which was very beautiful. We also had drinks and snacks a few times on the rooftop. The check in was very nice and everyone was able... more

Have just returned from the "Fortyseven" and thought it was brilliant. This small(ish) hotel is intimate, friendly but very professional. We had a deluxe double room which had plenty of space and a large marble bathroom. Staff very helpful, ordering taxi's when needed. On both occasions we were told, taxi will be here in 4 minutes, and it was! The... more

My wife and I stayed at the Fort-Seven Hotel in Rome during our 25th wedding anniversary. Having never been to Rome, this was the best hotel to stay in because of it's close proximity to most of the "old stuff" (as I call it); the coloseum, forum, circus maximus, etc. The bus also stops right in front of the hotel... more

My Husband and I stayed at the hotel in June of this year for a long weekend. We loved the hotel, the staff were fantastic, especially the Concierge and Reception staff. The room we stayed in was a classic and was exceptionally clean. The bed was huge, by UK standards anyway, and the bathoom had a great "rain" shower. The... more

After checking the reviews posted on Tripadvisor, we decided to give Hotel 47 a try. Glad we did, we have no complaints at all. The location was for us, excellent, a short walk to the Collosseum via the Roman Forum with a view of the Circus Maximus from the roof terrace! On arrival we were greated by a most pleasent... more

Excellent hotel and very helpful and friendly staff. In a very good location for touring Rome. Only a 10 minute walk to restaurants, shops and the Colosseum. It's a modern hotel and has an excellent bar and restaurant on the top floor. Food is excellent but a little pricey. Rooms are very clean and modern but the hotel faces a... more

We booked hotel forty seven by winning a bid on sky auction, what a fantastic hotel right in the middle of Rome! The staff was exceptional, making all restaurant reservations and recommendations. Our balcony overlooked the old city, and the rooms were modern and large, for european standards. I highly recommend this hotel, the rooftop bar was fabulous! more
