I've struggled to find a good hotel in Milan, and after three days I cannot consider Hotel Tocq the answer. From the entrance to the restaurant to the rooms, it has a tired and charmless feel. I stayed at the Una Tocq for three days with my wife while on a long trip of Italy. It was clean, affordable and the staff was nice. But for tourists it's a bit out of the way. Great, clean, nice atmosphere. Very modern decoration, new furniture, nice personnel. Well positioned, not right in the touristic center but in a neighborhood frequented by young milanese people, with nice coffee and restaurants nearby. Metro at about 100 meters away, but also nice to go walking down Corso Garibaldi till the center. For sure I would come back there. more
