My family of five stayed at Palazzo Guardi for one night in October. We checked in quite late as we drove from Tuscany. The concierge was friendly. The hotel is tucked into a small alley very close to where the ferry let us off. Not that hard to find. The rooms were small and clean with very old furnishings that... more

Wife and I stayed for 4 nites prior to a cruise out of Venice. This is an excellent (though pricey- but in Venice what isn't) inn, in a wonderful location. It is not a full service "hotel" but more of a B&B type establishment with very limited services. The rooms are in two buildings, not connected to each other. We... more

WOW, The palazzo was lovely, incredibly clean, very venician in decor, all of it was up-together, the bed was incredibly comfy, and the breakfast although quite simple was brilliant. Warm fresh croissants, with butter and jam, whilst(if you get the tables near the window) looking over the bustling canal below. You are very close to enbankment, and it was a... more

Just returned (1st May 08) from 4 nights at the Palazzo Guardi Inn. It is, as they state in their brochure, an Inn and most definitely not a hotel but as Inns go, it serves the purpose quite well. The location, near the Academia Grand Canal stop, is superb for touring the city. Purchase an 'all in one bus and... more

Stayed here end of March 2008. We had the attic suite. It was very large and had a roof top deck. Everything was clean and quiet. The only drawback was a lack of a shower but it did have a large 2 person tub with hand held spray. In my opinion this B&B has the best location in Venice. Very... more

Just to put a slight brake on some of the reviews on here. Yes this is a comfortable B&B, yes, with nicely spacious and decorated rooms, but we were put n the annex around the corner, which shouldn't have mattered, but it did. The continental breakfast would have to be the meanest I have encountered: Okay, so no eggs, fair... more

The hotel in general was great. Wonderful wellcome and beautiful room. Very quiet hotel and near the San Marco (maybe ten minutes walking). Breakfast was included in my package. It was buffet including juices, croisants, marmalades, cereals, teas and coffee. more

Palazzo Guardi is a lovely Venetian experience. Tucked away on a quiet lane about a 1 minute walk from the Accademia Bridge, Palazzo Guardi is a little piece of Venice at a very reasonable price. We booked the suite which accommodated the 4 of us (1 double bed and 1 double sofa bed) for 160 euro per night which we... more

My family and I spent two wonderful nights at this hotel shortly before Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The location is excellent and within walking distance of most sights in Venice. The room (for four) was large and overlooking a canal. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was also very good. For a South African on... more
