A nice place in the most romantic city we've visited yet. Rooms are larger than in general in europe. Clean, quiet, home-like breakfast. Private dock is something you do not appreciate utill you are actually in Venice....with 3 heavy suitcases and 3 "lighter" bags. We have stayed twice at the hotel Becher and have been 100 % pleased with both stays. My wife and I stayed in Hotel Becher in October 2007 and April 2008 and can recommend it unreservedly. We had room 310 which opened onto the adjacent canal, with three french windows, a long balcony and a beautiful palazzo opposite.
