Fine little set of rooms with a perfect host. Vincenzo makes a killer cup of Italian coffee, too! In our 4 days there, we became fast friends. Vincenzo is a trained architect. Check out his artful selection of books upstairs. Spotlessly clean rooms, by the way... more

We stayed at Hotel Duilio entirely by accident, as we ended up being in Florence longer than expected. We got the lowest low season rate in the middle of August, so it's worth looking around at last minute deals. We stayed for two nights and loved it. Vincenzio is very friendly and helpful, and the lobby is stocked with tons... more

We just got back from a three night stay in Florence, where we stayed at the Hotel Duilio. We picked the hotel based on three factors 1) Cost 2) Trip Advisor Ratings 3) Location Happy to say it didn't disappoint on any of these. The location was fine for us, being a pleasant 5-10 stroll along the river into the... more

We LOVED the Hotel Duilio and Vincenzo. Very small seven room hotel. We were traveling through Europe for three weeks and we never met a nicer, more accommodating host. Vincenzo is the owner of the hotel and lives upstairs. He is readily available at any time and eager to talk about his town. He directed us to the Trattoria il... more

I stayed at this hotel with a friend of mine a couple of years ago. I really liked the location as it is out of the way, but not too far. The proprietor was very friendly. I found the hotel was typical for Italian hotels in this range. Many budget Italian hotels have "interesting" bathrooms. This was one of them.... more

Great place, friendly and helpful host. Centrally located in a zone where only recidents can park, public parking for pay 100 m away (east of the address, north of the river). Free parking pointed out by Vincenzo (the host) 8-900 meters away. We got great recommendations for good and cheap places to eat. Would definately go there again. Rooms with... more

Vicenzo and his family were very nice and so very accomodating on our last night of our 14 day honeymoon but that was not enough for us. Upon arrival, we had to walk several flights of stairs with our luggage and about half way up, he Vicenzo came down and helped me with mine. He allowed us to put our... more

Vicenzo and his wife welcomed us with warm smiles. The hotel is a spotless, comfortable, quiet one-star, within walking distance of Ponte Vecchio, etc. Breakfast was not initially included in the rate when we booked, but our host provided us with a coupon for a complimentary Italian breakfast (espresso/cafe latte and a cornetto with jam), obtainable at a very friendly... more
