My wife and I stayed here in March 2008 and we absolutely loved it. We used this as our base camp to explore Tuscany, Florence, Pisa, and Sienna. It felt like we were staying in someones house, the very friendly staff at breakfast were attentive and always greeted us with a smile. The family that lived in the house helped... more
My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at Poderi Arcangelo. The staff is tremendous, the meals are AMAZING, and the views are just breathtaking. The pool leaves you feeling like you are in heaven too!! It was clean, in a great location, and an overall great time. more
My boyfriend and I just returned from a 2 wk tuscan vacation and , unfortunately, i do not have stellar reviews for this agriturismo. We stayed here the last two nights of our trip. I booked it on the faith of the good reviews here on TA. This is the first...and hopefully last....time i've had a substandard experience with an... more
Dear Beachlover, we are very sorry that you think your experience in our country house was mediocre. You don't put your name so we aren't able to understand in which room you had. Our swimming pool is in the open country side so maybe it can happen that some insect falls inside it, but we clean the pool every day....
Poderi Arcangelo is situeted in a really loveful place, and the exterior is really amazing. Breakfest is medium. We stayed two days and we had a room in the Bio Home (room Melissa). The windows were all closed with walls, positioned as a chessboard. No sun in it, no possibility to have fresh air... but a lot of insects! The... more
Dear friend, we red your comment about our house, and we are so sorry that you have found some difficulties. we would like to specify that rooms in the Bio House were built according the tipical characteristics of tuscan hay-lofts where farmes were used to keep grains and other kinds of cereals. That's why some rooms of the Bio House...
My husband and I stayed at this working wine and olive grove “estate” for 9 days. The estate is located in between San Gimignano and Certaldo. The views are gorgeous. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment on the second floor of Casa Raffaello, which was remodeled in 2007. The exterior of the building retains its classic charm. The bathroom... more
We have stayed there 3 days in late November 2007. This is a wonderful place with great views and typical of the Tuscany. We had a room in the main building, the casa Cappezzano which is fairly new. Room and bathroom are very clean and neat. You must realize that this azienda agricola has first the vocation of producing wine... more
My husband and I spent 5 days/4 nights at Poderi Arcangelo for the Tuscany portion of our recent Italy trip. I have to say that this place is a real treasure. We were so close to all the major towns I wanted to visit, yet we had the relaxing, 'total seclusion' feel that I was going for. It was so... more
We stay there for a couple of days and had the best time! Had lovely sunny days so we could enjoy the pool, highly recomend have dinner there as the food is amazing!!!! more
We spent 5 nights in this lovely agriturismo and we really felt as we were home! The room had a great view on the valley of vignards, the service was polite and especially familiar, but the thing we most enjoyed was the food....We reserved dinner 4 evenings and we really taste an excellent tuscan food like ribollita, panzanella ,and a... more
