Young singlesI thought the hotel was excellent. Myself (Chris Hutnan) and several of my friends attended. The hotel was a little outside the main part of town, but was a nice escape in the morning and evening. more
We loved our stay at Hilton. It is in a quiet residential area away from the center. This makes for pleasant walks around the canals in the evening and through the nearby Vondelpark in the day. If you are coming to this hotel for tourism, understand that you will be riding a tram to the attractions most days. However, it... more
We stayed at the Hilton Amsterdam for two nights in Amsterdam. This trip was part of a 15 night trip to Europe. The booking at this location was on a Hilton HHonors reward stay. We booked a queen non-smoking room and ended up with a large King non-smoking room. As a side note, this hotel is entirely non smoking as... more
I booked through hotwire and got such a deal I couldn't believe it. I believe we paid just over 100 $ night, and got very nice accomodations although just a bit of a tram ride out of downtown. We were able to check in very early, and got a room with a king bed as requested. The room was spacious... more
Hitlon Amsterdam is a nice hotel and staff did seem genuinely very friendly. Most staff smiled at us and were happy to help when we wanted to know the direction to town. We had a room overlooking the canal and could see the city centre afar. The room is clean and comfortable but I wouldn't say it oozed characters. Beds... more
Had a terrific stay at the Hilton Amsterdam in April for two nights. Booked via priceline and received a wonderful rate --less than half their normal rack rate. So if you ever use priceline be sure to do so in Amsterdam. You won;t be disappointed. The hotel is rather modern in style which is sort of out of place and... more
I booked the hotel through priceline.co.uk and managed to get the hotel for £76 per night. The check in staff were very friendly and first impressions were good. The room was very clean and had all the facilities we expected. Although, a little bit out of town, the trams are frequent and close by. The beautiful VondelPark is also only... more
I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton Amseterdam. As a diamond VIP, they upgraded me to the executive floor, which includes access to the executive lounge, including breakfast. The rooms are well appointed and reasonably spacious. Room service food was good and generous portions. The location is out of the centre but in an upmarket area and near to parks... more
It was easy for the Hilton to earn an 'Excellent' rating; redeemed the room (6 nights) using HiltonHHonors points, so it was essentially free; have been to Amsterdam 7 times, and this was the 1st accomodation with an elevator (which should give you an idea of types of places we usually stay); my 'Gold VIP' status within the HiltonHHonors system... more
Stayed here for 3 nights, 2nd - 5th May. We used Trams 5, 16 and 24 which all have stops within 250 yards of the hotel. The trams are frequent and really easy to use and all start from and arrive back at Central Station. I would recommend that you buy a 24, 48, 72 or 96 hour ticket which... more
