I was paying 80 euros for this hotel but they shoud not ask more than 50 .The sheets was not clean and we find some hair on it. The location is not so great and we where seeing some low quality people around it. When I was stepping out of my car someone ask me if i want a hooker.... more

I was here last week for 2 nights, 2 rooms. I choosed the hotel because of the area and the review seemed averagely pretty good. My stay was quite ok, but I had to complain about the bed, which I think is the most important thing in a hotel... maybe television ofra/c could be broken, it's ok, but the BED... more

We just returned from a tryp to Europe. In Athens we stayed at the Pythagorion Hotel. The hotel was average, perhaps the room was quite small. The bathroom, altough the shower space was small, was OK. Regarding the breakfast, it was also average. The location, altough is not the best in Athens, we found it to be not as bad... more

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a warm greeting. The people at the front desk provided helpful information for all our questions. Our room was a standard North American room (quite roomy for European standards). Our A/C did not work right away, but they fixed it as soon as we asked. Our room was clean and comfortable.... more

The room was very clean, had a balcony, and we had a view of the Acropolis and Lycabettus Hill which was a bonus. The staff was very personable and helpful, and the breakfast was adequate. Fortunately, they had "filter" coffee...not so easy to find in Athens. The two problems were: (1) the size of the room and the bathroom reminded... more

Stayed at the Pythagorion for a city break of 4 nights. Hotel is clean and tidy and you get what you paid for, except breakfast was shown as a buffet but it is not a hot buffet as you might expect. There was only cereal, bread, tinned fruit and boiled eggs. Other down point was we asked for a no... more

Quite a good hotel, clean and relatively cheap (worth its three stars rating). The rooms are rather small. We had a room with the window facing a "well" made by four buildings sticking to each other, so no view at all, but on the other way it was very quiet and peaceful. The staff is helpful, providing with information. The... more

I stayed at the Best Western Pythagorion for two nights prior to a cruise in September. I traveled alone and asked for a reasonably priced hotel in a neighborhood that gave me access to the tourist sites. The Pythagorion was a typical European three star hotel, which is to say that it is not what we expect here in the... more

Good place to stay for a reasonable price. Rooms were clean but slightly rundown, breakfast was included but not the North American breakfast you hope for. Location was good – 5 minute walk from the Subway and 15 minute walk from the Acropolis and surrounding area but limited nightlife and restaurants near the hotel. Look on the Best Western site... more
