The Hotel Foroyar, with its commanding views of Torshavn, is the island's best hotel just now. Well run and beautifully designed to take account of the stunning views, it is an absolute haven of peace and quiet. I shall return and chill out just as soon as I can make the time. The view from the rooms overlooking torshavn are verry good - in good weather. The hotel is a good walk from the city center, but the town isn't that big. The bus takes you almost to the front entrance. more
