This is a pretentious, expensive hotel located in the main square in Vienna. The square is crowded with street entertainers, artists, musicians and tourists all day and late into the night. + location,style,comfort,staff,views - parking, we couldn't figure out exactly how to get there as the front door is on a pedestrian mall we felt the location and design was worth the splurge, they had a special white sectional sofa in the center of the bar that was reserved especially for hotel guest, we never used it but nice to know... more

The entrance to the hotel foyer is by lift from ground floor.This is also the entrance to their bar and restaurant. every time we got out of the lift with the exception of our arrival with cases, we were never greeted as guests. This is a fantastic hotel. It's location is superb, you can't get be more central than the Haas House opposite St Stephen's. The reception is on the 6th floor, next to the hotel bar. The Do & Co is in a somewhat controversial modern building right on Stephansplatz, facing the cathedral and just 20 yards from the subway. It is modern and clean and cool and chic, with a great restaurant and bar on the 6th and 7th floors overlooking the cathedral itself with what must be an unrivalled view of the best roof... more

We stayed in this hotel for a short city break at the end of January. The hotel reception is located on the 6th floor beside the Onyx bar, with the rooms located on the 3rd, 4th and 5th. The reception area is quite small and gets quite busy with people trying to get in and out of the bar...you also... more

We had such a great time at this unique hotel. the situation is perfect for visiting museums and do some shopping. the Service was so helpful, the room with view to St. Stephans Cathedral was one of the best I have ever stayed! Hope to come back - Markus+Ingrid more
