Stayed here for one night over easter weekend. Hotel was pretty busy, but staff were very attentive. Room was massive and renovated with huge daybed. Bed itself wasnt that comfortable with felt like a double and not queen like they said. It was a bit odd the hotel had a pokie room next to reception with no bar, just pokies. more

A poor hotel. Rude staff. No facilities to speak of. I left a package to be delivered to a colleague's room and it was never seen again. Rock hard bed, lurid coloured room. Great location though. So forget about the hotel and wander down the quay for a beer or two. more

The hotel has a convenient location but it ends there. Concierge were not too helpful getting us a taxi...which was took ages to arrive even if you book in advance. The room was nice but the beds were too soft it was so uncomfortable. You will not get a good night's sleep here. more

If location and convenience were the sole criteria for choosing a Sydney hotel, then the Novotel would do well given Darling Harbour's proximity to the CBD, shops, Circular Quay and other main attractions (the monorail passes in front of the hotel and the ferry service is a short walk away).
