Booked our room with Wotif, and was very happy with the accommodation. The 1 bedroom suite had a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings and even a washer/dryer. Balcony with two chairs and a table, but no ashtray for smokers. Room service was a little pricey (we only had dinner), and carparking is charged on top of the room rate. Great... more

The rooms looks modern but the service is average. we were told to put a docket on the dashboard when we check in. They however "forget" to tell us the parking fee in the hotel parking lot costs 6 dollars(not sure if its per day). I later raised this question to the counter and she only asked "who checked you... more

We had a great stay here. The rooms were larger, modern and very comfortable and the staff were pleasant. Everything was good quality. Very nice. more

The rooms are newer and modern and the location is good. Continental breakfast was average to poor while hot breakfast was average to above average. The Sebel must be trying to cut costs because we kept having to beg for toilet paper (as did the people in the room next door). We stayed five days and had enough of the... more

I would definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Launcenston. The rooms are spacious, beautifully furnished and squeaky clean. The kind size bed was comfortable with nice fresh, crisp linen. The only pitfall is the unsecured underground carpark and the extra you pay for using it. The gym is a little small but had all the necessary equipment for... more

Spotlessly clean, modern, self contained suites. Handy location for walking around the city and the marina where river cruises leave from. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Didn't try the restaurant as we stayed over Easter and it was closed for most of the time. more

We stayed at the Sebel over the Launceston cup period and despite the hefty nightly rate $350 per night thy hotel lived up to expectations. Room was spacious and modern with a orange feature wall and matching couch, very modern! Car parking limited but secure. Restaurant breakfast was great with wide selection. Service from staff was some of the best... more

We stayed at the hotel for a wedding. There was a group of us and we had two two-bedroom apartments. The whole place was very modern and clean. Great location between main town centre and waterfront. Nice leafy location close to everything. Only complaint would be staff. Most of the staff were good and willing to please, however we asked... more

Loved this hotel. Stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment - really clean and spacious. Lovely decor , great beds. Staff fantastic and really nice restaurant. Couldn't even hear the infamous Launceston clock chiming all night as you do in some other Launceston hotels! more

We had an excellent stay at the Sebel Launceston. It is very conveniently located, close to the Seaport area with many restaurants to choose from. The hotel itself is modern and the rooms are very nicely decorated. The suites were spacious with air-conditioning, cooking utilities, washer/dryer, nice bathroom, TV in the living area and separate bedroom. There was no view... more
