Writing this review after reading a scathing report on the hotel dated May 08. We have just returned to Australia after spending four nights on level 18 of the hotel and found the room, service and facilities exceptional. Rooms, Service and location are all superb. Across the road from the Hotel Muslim travellors can get Halal food. Not one but 6-7 restaurant options. There are few arabic restaurants and other halaal oriental restaurant. Internet is paid and a bit expensive, around 15-20 dollars a day. I just stayed here for one night on a stopover. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are large, comfortable and clean, as were the bathrooms. The Landmark is first class in terms of service, comfort and location. Based on Sukhumvit road in the heart of Bangkok's business district the local streets are bustling and vibrant. We booked through an agent for our 3 night stay and having spoken to some ex pats this is the best way to obtain the cheapest rates at this hotel.... more

The Landmark has great facilities, and lovely staff, but........beware, they absolutely condone prostitution. I thought that I was pretty worldly, but as a middle aged western woman, found it all a little much, some nights the Huntsman Bar just became a brothel...alright for some I suppose. more
