The hotel is about a 15 minute 100baht tuk tuk ride away from the shopping areas and is sort of out in no man's land. Located about 10 minutes walk from the Novotel, there is nowhere to walk and nothing to see in this area during the day or at night. Most drivers had no idea where the place was... more

We stayed at the hotel because a conference we were attending was located there and it was near the university. Initially we were disappointed, not by the hotel but by the noise level of our fellow guests, there was a Christian family conference just ending as ours began and the halls were filled with out of control kids screaming. We... more

the halls are so dark that i had to use a cigarette lighter to see the key slot in my door. the carpets look like the have not been cleaned in years. there are hand prints all over the walls in the halls, the rooms, even the lobby area. do not be deceived by the photos in the web site.... more

We stayed at the Lotus for five nights in late December 2007. We had read the mixed reviews the hotel received. So we booked a deluxe room and were very happy with it. Although the bathroom was dark and it did have some mould around the tub area, the rest of the room was well appointed. We had a small... more

Very large hotel, and lacked a personal touch. We asked for a room overlooking Doi Suthep. The room we were given was fine - large, clean and with a view over Doi Suthep, but this was in the distance and we had a graet view of the car park for the attached shopping centre. The breakfast was OK, but very... more

massive hotel, too far from downtown chiang mai (night bazaar), was our honeymoon and they gave us a room with two twin beds pushed together that were uneven, outrageous local phone call rates, expensive considering what you get. we left as soon as we could.... more

I stayed here for 4 nights in January 2007. The room was quite large but not that clean. I don't think the carpet had been vacuumed in months-- in fact, they use an antiquated bundle of straw only to spot-broom (pick up large pieces of food, etc). A few parts of the carpet were sticky, so never walked without my... more

It started off going into what looked like a nice hotel. After signing in we were taken up to the sixth floor, then lead down some stairs and across a hallway into what was essentially another hotel. We checked in again were lead up to our room which had two beds pushed together. It was just an old room. It... more

This place is out of the centrere of things and as the only way in is through the shopping centre or via the shopping centre car park be prepared to get a lot of taxis. Free airport transfers and night market transfers. Only about 4 km from 700 year stadium (i.e. right side of town for that.) If you have... more

I stayed at the Lotus PSK recently and would like to share my experience Staff: The people were really nice - always helpful, cheerful and obliging - right from the gentlemen who met me at the Airport & transferred me to the hotel to the porter/bell-hop to the reception. It’s true that some of them speak limited English but they... more
