This Fairmont is a very nice property, with excellent service and a great location in Singapore. I stayed here for business for one night, and would have liked to stay here longer. Front desk service was in the same class as their Nob Hill property, with attentive service and plenty of personnel. The room was very well appointed and comfortable,... more

In my opinion, the Fairmont hotel is a functional business hotel. The rooms are not large, but are clean and the bathrooms are nice. The location is convenient for most of Singapore and being directly over Raffles City, its easy to pull in some shopping time outside work hours. The amenities are disappointing - the gym equipment seems to be... more

Recently stayed at the Fairmont Singapore for 3 nights. Have stayed at this hotel every year now since 2002 and athough the name has changed our experience has not. When I found out that the hotel had become a Fairmont (from previously being Raffles the Plaza and before that the Westin Plaza) I was slightly apprehensive about any potential changes,... more

Stayed at the Fairmont Singapore for work. The hotel was excellent from the time I checked in, to two weeks later when I checked out. The lobby is beautiful and relaxing. Reception was very friendly and quick. The room had plenty of space and was nicely appointed. Turn-down service every night and they set the music to classical so you... more

We stayed for 3 nights at the Fairmont Singapore on our way to Bali. We initially booked the hotel when it was still called the Raffles Plaza. Overall our stay was nice and we enjoyed the facilities of the hotel. We booked a slightly more expensive room in the South wing which was really nice: excellent and large bathroom, nicely... more

Very old hotel, that clearly needs a fresh-up. Interior design and furniture were old and in 80s colours. Good facilities and very good location, but everything from breakfast room, pool & room, left us feeling dissapointed, we expected more from a chain like Fairmont. more

Overall we were happy with our stay, though it wasn't without a few niggles. We stayed en route to Sydney and New Zealand, for two nights. I booked when it was still Raffles the Plaza. Overall it worked out well for us at the rate we paid. Good: - upgraded due to hotel being busy and having booked early. So... more

When I made my hotel reservations, this hotel was originally called Raffles Plaza Hotel. I had wanted to stay at a Raffles chain but could afford the original Raffles so decided to book at the Plaza. As the trip neared, the hotel changed it's name to the Fairmont. Apparently Fairmont owns Raffles and decided to change the name of the... more

Seamless, smooth and gracious! These are the qualities of both the Hotel and the staff. I had a great 3 nights stop over on my way to Australia, I truly recommend this Hotel. more

Stayed at this property several times when it was the Raffles Plaza, and was a little concerned to read on TripAdvisor that since converting to a Fairmont, the level of attention and service had deteriorated. Not at all true, in my opinion. Still the same high quality of service and amenities. Towels refreshed twice a day, bathroom amenities replenished, etc.... more
