Stayed at the Amara Hotel near Chinatown for 2 wks. Good location near restaurants/hawker's market, next to MRT stop. Small adjacent shopping center was convenient but not exciting. 禅をテーマにしているとのことで、全体的にシンプルで落ち着いたホテルです。地下鉄駅も近く、チャイナタウンも徒歩でいける場所なので便利です。お部屋も広く、バスルームはシャワーブースとバスタブが別になっています。シャワーブースの扉がきちんと閉まらないのと、バスルームが広すぎて脱いだ服などを置く適当な場所が遠くて少し使いづらかったですが、熱いお湯も出ましたし、ドライヤーも備え付けてあります。朝食は、スタッフも親切で、内容もシュウマイなどの中華料理あり、ジュースやフルーツ、おいしいパンも種類が豊富で満足できました。ツアーでの宿泊でしたので、部屋の希望を出せず下層階となってしまったのは残念でしたが、短い滞在で日中はほとんどいませんでしたので、寝る、朝食を食べると考えるとよかったです。ちなみにお部屋に時計がなく、モーニングコールはチェックイン時に頼むか、電話で申し込みです。ホテルのスタッフに日本語を話せる人はいませんでした。 more

観光に便利なチャイナタウンのホテルです。周りはホテルが多いのですが、個性的な外観で迷子の心配もないです。チェックインがフライトの関係で遅くなったのですが、フロントにもエントランスにもスタッフが複数いてくれて安心できました。部屋は上品な内装で、ベッドやデスクも高級な感じです。バスルームも使いやすく、自然素材の備品がよかったです。きれいなプールやジムもあり、（使っていませんが）レストランも各種ありました。チャイナタウンが近いので、外食するお店には不便ないのですが、レストランも雰囲気がよさそうでした。私たちは深夜についたのでディナーはできなかったのですが、再度宿泊するときには、あそこで食事したいなあと思います。空港からの送迎があり、帰りが大荷物だったのでとても助かりました。 more

初めてのシンガポールに夫婦で行って来ました。そこで宿泊したのがアマラホテルでした。内装は新しく綺麗でした。部屋も思ったより広く寛げました。バスルームにはバスタブは勿論ありますが、別にシャワー室もあり、モダンな感じがしました。朝食は１階のレストランでバイキングスタイルでした。値段はリーズナブルですが、ちょっぴり得した感じのするホテルでした。 more
