We booked for 4 nights but stayed only 1 night. When we initially complained about the lack of two door keys and said that a good hotel would provide two the receptionist actually said "this is not a good hotel"! Our room was next to 3 rooms housing a number of chinese who banged, talked louding, had their doors constantly... more

Spent a total of five nights here in November 07 over the course of two weeks. The hotel is not the best but it's not as bad as the reviews make out. Plus points are: Short walk to Plaza de Armas and metro stop. The walk seemed pretty safe even late of a night. Negative points: Staff are a bit... more

The Majestic was not a great place to stay but I did not think it was as bad as some of the other reviews it received. It is located in a bit of a run-down scuzzy area, but it seemed reasonable safe and it was only about a 2 or 3 walk block to nicer areas and then the city... more

I was there this week for 2 nights. You get the feeling that nobody cares. The hotel needs refreshing everything is just old. They offer free internet access in a place and on a chair where you would never sit down voluntarilly. At the reception guests are an unavoidable disturbance while having a good time. Answering requests you first get... more

We stayed at this hotel, on our honeymoon last year. The hotel was by far the worst we stayed in over the month. There was no lift, so my husband was required to carry one of our cases up to the 2nd floor. The staff were pleasant, but not extremely accomodating. The room did have air conditioning- which was a... more

Pealing wall paper, VERY chipped bath, sink and toilet. Dark room and bathroom. Slightly smelly room. Quite helpful staff. Some of the options available for breakfast seemed to be slightly old and curling at the edges! more

Room was small and shabby. Tee and coffee maker in the room was provided, though. There is no elevator. Breakfast is mediocre. Indian restaurant is good and reasonably priced and open till late so you can get dinner after an evening flight arrival. The reception personnel wouldn't book me a shuttle to the airport but luckily my Spanish was just... more

Stayed there for 7 nights, on arrival, the first room we got on 1st floor was just too small for 2 persons (2 beds); asked to be changed and was given another room on 1st floor with window looking to an inner court but since there was 3 beds, no further ahead; asked to be changed room again. Staff was... more
