I found this hotel to be very good. The rooms are spacious and very clean and all the amenities are in excellent condition. The Hotel is very conveniently located right across the road from the main railway station in KL so you can come straight from the airport on the express train and you'll be in your room in no... more
I'm currently at Le Meridian in KL - and it is very average. My room is on 33rd floor and has all the usual features expected for a 4/5 star hotel... large flat tv, comfy bed, decent desk etc. The bathroom is decidedly mediocre - and feels very cramped - but there is an OK selection of shower gel and... more
I chose this hotel because I got Starwood points and it was near the train station. I had an early train to Singapore the next morning. I was checked in very quickly and upgraded to a pool view room. The pool looked very nice but I didn't get a chance to use it. The room was spacious with a nice... more
Rather convenient to get to, take the airport train and it arrives next to the hotel. Just 1 tip: be careful when you buy multiple train tickets. Upon my point of resv, i mentioned to the reservations agent that i wld like to upgrade to the premier room, and she informed me of the... more
The positives: very nice lobby, good restaurants and right across KL Sentral. The lobby's quite nice with soaring high ceilings and a European classical design with a few modern touches. I ate at Latest Recipe and the Middle Eastern Restaurant at the 8th floor. Both had great variety in their buffets. Latest Recipe, for example, had Japanese, Indian, Malaysian, Chinese,... more
There is nothing like a bit of competition that keeps a hotel on its toes for its service quality. Le Meridien KL, physically shoulder to shoulder to the Hilton KL, fights to outperform its neighbor and this rigor shows throughout the hotel. I had brought a small company of friends on a weekend getaway to KL and stayed for 2... more
A large modern city hotel with excellent service. When we arrived I was a little cautious but our room was exceptional with spectacular views over the city. Very comfortable and very quiet. Food, and prices excellent. Highly recommended. more
For a city hotel with easy access to the airport this was a good 4* choice. We chose it for the pool which is shared with the Hilton and really was the largest we could see from Trip advisor. and it did not disappoint us. Check in was quick although our room was not ready at 2.30pm when we arrived....had... more
