Staying at Bishopsgrace was an absolutely perfect experience. The house and gardens are absolutely stunning. The former private house was converted to a B&B by the owners, one of whom is an interior designer and every square inch is decorated with exquisite taste, lush fabrics and special touches. We were here for 4 nights and can thoroughly recommend it. The house is in one of the exclusive parts of cape town, about 10 to 15 minutes drive from the waterfront. Bishopsgrace is a little piece of heaven. Both the interior décor and the exterior mountain scenery are exquisite. The staff is courteous, kind and happy and made me feel like I had truly landed in the lap of luxury (which I had). I really enjoyed the delicious gourmet breakfasts and was spoilt by staff offering me refreshments all day long.... more

I stayed at Bishopsgrace in October 2006, and was so very impressed. Bishopsgrace is in a very lovely part of Cape Town and quite central for the beaches, shopping and wine country. Bishopsgrace was recently a private residence but has been converted into a guest house that is transformed to world class standard due to the service of it's management and staff.
