Carry your own bags. Wait 30 minutes for simple food order, then try to eat it. Wait forever for a smile from staff. Savour the smells of eau de toilet. in your room. Up to Sheraton standard??? I don't think so. Thank God for the view of the falls. more

The views are amazing from this hotel. If you plan on visiting Iguazu, this is a good hotel to stay at because it is right in the park. You can walk to all the paths from there and do not need a tour guide to get around. I would definitely splurge for the falls view room as the view on... more

The hotel itself is grand, lovely buffet breakfast and evening meals in the restaurant were tasty. Yes it was a bit more expensive to stay than maybe other places nearby but by far the best thing about the hotel was the location and this is well worth paying extra for. You could walk down to the Falls in the morning... more

The location is clearly the strong point of the hotel, since you can walk to the falls and the extensive paths which make viewing the falls from the Argentine side such a pleasure. You can also sit on the hotel patio and see the falls. The included breakfast was also very good, and we found the staff generally friendly. The... more

Can't beat location! Hotel itself looks absolutely crap, but the service and accomodation was good. We had a room with a view of the falls, it was fab sitting out there in the evening/early morning. We were able to do walks fairly easily given the location. We had dinner there (mainly as there was nowhere else to go) but blimy... more

Stayed two nights in this resort which is very conveniently at the doorstep of the national park and the only hotel within 11 miles. The rooms are tired, standard hotel rooms. We could hear the water from the shower upstairs flow down through the walls. And the service and food leave alot to be desired. There is only one hotel... more

If you are going to Iguazu then it is definitely worth paying extra to stay here and get a room with a falls view. You can walk to the waterfalls within two minutes. We went early and had the walkways to ourselves. Staff and rooms are good. Dinner in the restaurant is poor - the only place in Argentina that... more

We absolutely enjoyed the stay at the Sheraton. My husband and I had a waterfalls view room for 4 nights on the third floor. The view from the room wins it all - it was just such a pleasure to wake up and relax in front of such a stunning view. The room and its facility was very decent -... more

Ok this is not an outstanding hotel but if you want a really pleasant base for a great trip at the Falls then you only have two choices, this and the Cataractas The falls are a top World class spectacle and we were enthralled for two full days on the brazil and argentine sides You will get wet and its... more

We stayed at the Sheraton for 2 nights, I know it is expensive but to help cut costs we applied for an American Express card through Starwood and got 10,000 pts for joining so got the first night free on points. The second night we paid through the hotel website, an internet special for $208 (with tax it was $248US)... more
