I stayed at this hotel for two nights. It is really well located, has a good restaurant and the facilities are good. But when it comes to confort, friendliness of the staff and room conditions ... it is really bad. The rooms are overheated ( 80 F / 26 C ), and, if wanna have a good night of sleep,... more

Excellent hotel for a few nights stay. Modern facilities, spa, internet, great breakfast and a very good restaurant with a view. Had dinner there both nights of our stay. Perfect location on a side street -across from the port and half a block to a main street. Friendly staff. Very satisfied and would stay there again! more

We stayed in Ushuaia for two nights, so this hotel was perfect. It's across the street from where you book excursions and half a block from the main street. The restaurant is very good and breakfast is good. The staff was very polite and helpful. The rooms were a bit warm, but just open the window and all is fine.... more

The hotel is good, as it should be a 4 stars hotel. It has 3 computers with internet at the lobby and a good breakfast. Good quality more then variety. Great location for who doesn't have a car. We can walk to everywhere in the city center (which is not big). One or two hundred meters from the place where... more

Nice hotel, with great location! Close to good restaurants and the main Ushuaia street. The room is very hot, as you cannot control the temperature (it is a central control), but the restaurant is very good! Good price, what makes it a great deal! more

The rooms vary very much. We had room 420 and had a huge room with a partial view. Great buffet breakfast. Some people pile their plates and then leave a lot of food waisted on the table. Internet is super slow and the TV in the room was tiny. Perfect location. Had a great facial. The food at the restaurant... more

I stayed at the Albatros in January 2007 . It's a modern hotel with a nice lobby right near the Port. The main problem was that it was terribly overheated (natural gas is very cheap in Tierra del Fuego) and you could not turn it down. Opening the window helped but the noise and pollution from the street below plus... more

Flight arrival delayed and didn't arrive until 1AM. Manager on duty very helpful--moved my room to one with a view of the harbor as I requested. Interesting that where anywhere else the answer to the question 'Do you have a room with a view of the harbor' would have been yes. At the Albatros the answer was an honest 'None... more

We stayed twice 2 nights in that hotel on our way to / from Antarctica. Location - Great, just in front of the ships, and in the middle of the city. Reception - Very friendly and efficient. Rooms - too small. Need renovation. Food - Excellent, and nice view from the restaurant. Internet access - free from the ground floor... more

The location makes up for any other deficiencies. The room WAS small but we had a view. The room WAS hot but we opened windows. The breakfast buffet was lacking in selections and never varied. Internet was free in the lobby, but there was often a waiting line. I would stay there again. more
