Casa Mango is great. This place is very nice with a resort-like garden and swimming pool. You will get a few little lizards from the yard in your room, but this is part of the experience. We visited Cabarete in March/April 2005 and stayed at a fabulous place called Casa Mango in the Pro Cab area. It's beautiful and quiet but only 5 minutes walk from the beach action.Casa Mango is accommodation only but there is a lovely supermarket called 'Janets' just up the road. The one thing I would advise every visitor to this area... more
