I spent five nights there in February 2008 and about the best thing I can say about the Casa Cayena is it has a good location and a good restaurant. The rooms are poor. Very hard beds and almost non-existent lighting. A very dim compact florescent light in the bathroom didn't provide enough light to shave by. Two similar bulbs... more

so i went for a week it was great but my a/c didnt work to good but they told me that a new owner got the place and they will change all the a/c so iam hopeing for that since iam planing to be back in april one more thing i didnt like is that it was no coffe after... more

This was my third time through the DR. Two different all-inclusives and then the Casa. The all-inclusives are pretty much the same everywhere in the world and if thats what you want thats OK. The stay at the Casa was a chance to get to know the DR and experience a multitude of things that you can't at an all-inclusive.... more

Really enjoyed my stay. The rooms all face the pool w/ balcony and rooms where just great for the price. You can pay alot more and stay in an all inclusive, or you have a good time seeing the town and what it has to offer and stay at Casa Cayena. Had a great time. Very hot, our room was clean and air-conditioned, food was good at hotel and amazing in town. Will go again. We met lots of people from US and Europe. Alot of 2nd and 3rd. timers. Will go again. more

Had a great time! The location of this hotel is one othe best things about it. Close all the action, staff was good, a little quiet around the pool, but very clean. Has internet and a little Pub style bar. 5 minute walk to the beach. will stay again more

This place is fine, very clean and comfortable. We had a king bed, satellite TV, lots of closets, private bath with hot water, air conditioning and a ceiling fan, so the room was comfortable for sleeping. French doors open onto a balcony with a view of the pool which was small, but also clean. We were only in one night... more
