First time visitor to the Sosua area - it was a great trip overall and R&R helped greatly with knowledge of the area, tips on where to eat -( don't miss the Thai restaurant on the top of the hill before they sell it - what a treat! ) - where to swim and all the while keeping us comfortable... more

This was our second time to casa serena and we enjoyed it as much as the first time . We rented the studio as we have a toddler and it's convinient for cooking! The room is large so no problem to live in 1 room for a week! The property is very quiet and relax. The pool is bigger than... more

This is a lovely house that will meet your needs. Richard and Richie are lovely hosts, and ensure you are tended to with tasty, well presented breakfasts, good pool maintenance, and any information you wish to have about the area (their tip on Paradise Island trip was outstanding; and we really enjoyed the Thai Restaurant). The rooms are simple and... more

We stayed at Casa Serena for a week in the beginning of October and can honestly say we were made to feel so welcome it was almost like our own place. Our room was at the top (called the turret room) with it's own sun terrace and we felt as though we were the only people in the world while... more

My hubbie and I spent a week at Casa Serena guest house in sept, 07 and had the best time ever, our only regret is that we did not stay longer, the owners Richard and Richi were great hosts, and made our stay and holiday the best we ever had, we had the studio apartment which was self contained, clean,... more

Rest and Recuperation with the help of Richard & Richie, is the best way to describe our stay at Casa Serena. We were made to feel very welcome from the start and felt right at home in the turret room. As the only guests, the warm, large (and very, very clean) pool was ours and provided essential respite from the... more

My husband and I totally agree with the previous visitors' descriptions of Casa Serena, It's surroundings, and the hospitality extended to visitors. Soon after renting a car at the airport, we realized that we were not quite equipped for driving in a foreign country. Our host Richard offered to do the driving for us at that point .He even took... more

Casa Serena was a wonderful, quiet place to hang out and relax. Rich and Richie are caring and spirited hosts, with lots of to-the-point recommendations on what to enjoy and/or avoid during your stay. Their breakfasts are light and fresh. The pool can be enjoyed day or night. Staying in the Turret Room was a treat, as we frequently lolled... more

This place is oh so relaxed and affordable. My husband and I stayed in the turret room which had great views, a private terrace and a large bathroom. The property has lovely plantings and a fantastic pool. A bonus for us were Rich and Richie the friendly owners and their dogs. Casa Serena is a short distance up the hill... more

What a treat ! Casa Serena is a haven of tranquillity just outside Sosua. Situated on a hill called "La Mulata" it benefits from a gentle breeze so taking the edge off the baking sun. This meant we were able to enjoy the peace and quiet of the pool and garden to the full. We stayed in the turret room... more
