Everything was lovely except for the food. Ate 4 meals (restaurant and room service) and found all to be sub par. The people bringing the food were great, but boooo to the food. A big booooo. Service was impeccable. If you stay there, eat out. it was like eating at the olive garden, with the exception of their fresh berries. more

We are big Ritz fans, know what to expect and were very pleased with this hotel. We had a Suite on the Club Floor. Sadly ,we were not overlooking the ocean, but the suite was an excellent size and in good decorative order. Yes, the bathrooms don't have separate showers but the main bathroom with dressing area was very large,... more

Spent three nights at this wonderful place. The setting on top of a cliff is really stunning and the views over the beach and sea are breathtaking. While the entrance area of the hotel is really pretty I found the rooms to be rather dull. Our room was facing an inner courtyard and was basically looking into some trees. The... more

The Ritz Carlton Dana Niguel is a beautiful property. We had a club level room that was a little on the small side, but very plush. The food was wonderful and they were very kid friendly. The pools were nice and my kids loved the beach. It is a public beach, but the Ritz staff sets up your chairs and... more

There are three things I look for in a top hotel: 1/ Location: when you first look out from your ocean view window you can't help but go "wow". When you have your breakfast 160 foot above sealevel, overlooking the gorgeous beach and surfers you can't help but go "wow" again. Some of the best views from a hotel that... more

A rough gem, This Ritz Carlton has a beautiful location and it's staff is well trained and pays attention to detail. However, the air conditioner in our room sounded like a freight train and is located right next to your bed. Is was so loud , we could even hear the one in the room below ours. The management should... more

My husband, my two boys and I all stayed at this Ritz Carlton for what was to be two nights. My husband and I have stayed in many a Ritz Carlton and unfortunately...this one did not meet our expectation on what a Ritz experience should be. With the Amex package we were to receive an upgraded room, however we were... more

We were there for Mothers' Day, and I must say that we were simply blown away by the view -- just absolutely stunning. The lobby was beautiful, and the hotel certainly looked and felt posh. Unfortunately, the room didn't quite match our expectation for a 5-star. While it was very nice, it was not like other Ritz Carltons we'd seen.... more
