I guess they must have remodeled after reading all those other poor reviews. The lobby was nice and the rooms were nice. It all looked brand new except for the outside of the room door. The bed was very comfortable and the A/C was blowing like 10 below absolute zero. The rooms come with free wireless which works well. They... more

This is a very decent hotel for the money. I have stayed all over Fresno and travel there twice a month on business. I have no complaints. The hotel is doing some remodeling but the staff always takes the time to make sure you can’t hear a thing. The staff is really fantastic. The restaurant and bar are great as... more

While clean, the place is showing its age. The staff was quite helpful and the newspapers free. But the continental breakfast is minimal - fresh juice and fruit, but lousy coffee and packaged pastries. Fortunately there's a Starbucks conveniently across the parking lot. The pool is not heated in the winter. more

I recently went to my high school reunion at the Ramada in Fresno, CA. The experience was a good one. The sales staff was very polite as well as helpful in accommodating all of my needs. I also received good service in their restaurant. My only complaint would be the overpriced bagles in the restaurant. It's ridiculous having to pay... more

I have traveled to Fresno and stayed at the Ramada before, but this last time I was going to be there for 2 weeks. The room I received had new refrig/microwave in the room which made my stay a lot easier on my pocket book. My room was comfortable, clean and when I wanted something to eat I just had to go... more

I am a bussiness traveler and one thing that is very important is having a great bed to sleep on. I think this is the only good thing about this hotel is the comfortable bed. Everything else is very out dated in this hotel. The shower smelled like mildew and the room in general is old. The pool looks ok,... more

The Ramada at Fresno was appalling. The room we were checked into was filthy, I had to ask for clean sheets, the pillows were dirty and the mattress pad was gross. The houseperson just walked right into the room without knocking, and we remade the beds ourselves. I used the disinfectant wipes I had in the car to wipe down... more

The hotel is located in the rear of a strip mall/shopping area. No ambiance. I found staff to be nice and pleasant. Second floor rooms are accessed only by stairs. First floor rooms are exterior access. The 1/2 of the hotel I was on faced the rear of a bunch of stores just 100 yeards from some lovely dumpsters. Interior... more

Recently stayed for a few nights over Thanksgiving. The first room we were given had no hot water. They switched us to another, where very little water was coming from the tap in the sink (though at least it was hot). The third room had no plumbing issues. The bathrooms are tired, obviously never remodeled for the last 30 years.... more

The front desk people-mainly one young female-just about ruined my entire trip to Fresno. This clerk was rude on the phone and when I arrived ready check-in, she insultingly told me that I would have to wait until 5PM to check in to the 2 rooms I had reserved because they couldnt remove a large party from the hotel. I... more
