The Surf and Sand is the quintessential ocean side hotel. We stayed in a suite up on the top floor, and the roar of the ocean could still be heard as if it were right in our room. Splashes restaurant has a nice ocean view. However the food is overrated, pricey, and the service is mediocre at best. The menu items have fancy names, but they do not live up to their descriptions. I would not return to eat there. more
