Stayed one night at the Comfort Inn Hollywood - great location for tourists only one or two block walk to the main attractions. Found the hotel to be pricey - $160 for one night for two adults - they did not charge for parking which I was told they usually do at a rate of $25 per day. Pool was... more

I booked my stay at the Comfort Inn & Suites on Highland Avenue in Hollywood despite what I had read in previous reviews of this hotel. I'm so glad I did not listen to those reviews. I have stayed many times in Hollywood and found this Comfort Inn to be the best deal (if you book early). The rates on... more

Stayed here for a few nights while introducing out-of-town guests to Hollywood and Los Angeles. This was not a good deal for the price (we paid extra to have a "suite" which is not a suite at all but a regular hotel room plus a small sofa bed). Our toilet clogged the first morning. When I went to the front... more

A true hole. We booked this place on short notice after finding our previous hotel lacking, and being unable to find anyting else suitable within our price range. The first night my family and I stayed in one of their "suites," room 201, where the second room contained no furniture except an oddly placed and tiny pull-out love seat, and... more

I recently stayed in this property and I was surprised at what you can find there. For example: no toilet paper, only two towels, dirty linens, a bloody sputum on one pillow, smelly carpets, bed bugs!!!!! In the morning I went to the dining room and guess what? Roaches under my table. The waiter smiled when I informed him. I... more

I stayed in this hotel Dec. 3, and checked out Dec 4. Once I returned home to Arizona, I realized I forgot values in my hotel room. I called and spoke to hotel employees who informed me that I would need to have someone come pick them up. I did this, and paid $60.00 to have it shipped to the... more

We thought upon entering the hotel that it was fairly nice. On the 2nd day I was starting to notice red, itchy bites. By the 3rd night I was sick as a dog. I went to the doctor and I had had a severe allergic reaction to bed bugs. I did not even know they existed. The person that was... more

Just returned from a one night stay at the Hollywood, Ca Comfort Inn on North Highland Avenue. My one stay can be summed up in one word, ' bugged.' I retired late after returning from a concert at the Hollywood Bowl and was awaken by itching on my arms. A search of the bedsheets revealed a crawling bed bug. I... more

This had to be practically my family's worst hotel experience out of 100's of nights throughout the years in a hotel. We first arrived at the hotel on our stay of seven nights only to find that the electricity was out in the area. According to a lady who was checking out as we were arriving, this had been the... more

This is an okay place to stay if you are going to the Hollywood Bowl, Chinese Theatre, Universal Studios or Warner Brothers. You can walk two blocks to the subway and get to most of the above sites, or walk down to hollywood Blvd for a quick bus to the Farmer's Market (CBS, The Grove).....or walk further down to Sunset... more
